AUGUST 10, 2014 - COVINGTON
The Covington Buccaneers may work hard over the summer, but still find time to have some fun as evident by an afternoon of "Team Building" at a local farm pond on Sunday.
The players were treated to pizza, a fire to cook s'mores, a pond and plenty of space to play games. A tractor with a loader was parked next to the pond for the players to do some "Hillbilly Diving" and plenty of pond scum was available for a good old fashioned scum slinging fight.
The kids also enjoyed playing volleyball and soccer, which consisted of a little improvising with two large tubes used as goals and a volleyball as a soccer ball.
In all, it was an afternoon of fun that progressed well after the sun settled as the kids shared some laughs around the campfire.
